What does Made to Order mean at Couture for Gentlemen?
You choose the fabric, color, and details (lapels, buttons, lining), and our workshop in Oradea sews the suit to order, using our standard pattern, in 2 weeks. It costs 1,500 lei. If you want a suit tailored to your measurements, with a custom pattern, choose Made to Measure, 2,100 lei.
Where are the costumes sewn?
In our Oradea workshop, by our team of 11 people. We do not import and do not work through intermediaries. The fabrics come directly from the weavers, including Vitale Barberis Canonico from Italy, and the composition is displayed on each product.
How much does a suit cost, and what do I get for that money?
Standard 1,300 lei (ready-made, in your size), Made to Order 1,500 lei (fabric and details of your choice), Made to Measure 2,100 lei (tailored to your measurements, with your pattern saved), theTailors premium from 2,800 lei (100% Vitale Barberis Canonico wool). All sewn in the same workshop, all with fittings in the showroom.
Can I order online or do I need to come to the showroom?
Order Standard suits, coats, shirts and accessories online, with a size guide, free delivery nationwide and free returns. For Made to Order and Made to Measure, visit our showroom — in Oradea, Timișoara or Târgu Mureș in person, or in Bucharest by appointment — to see the fabrics and have us take your measurements.
What ties can I wear with a black suit?
The black suit is more restrictive in terms of accessories, but a black tie or a red tie can be the perfect choice for accessories. Of course, a white pocket square can be a well-chosen accessory for this type of suit.
How do I choose the color of the socks?
According to many expert studies, as well as the recommendations of us at Couture For Gentlemen, you have 3 options for choosing the color of your socks: in the same shade as your trousers, in the same shade as your shoes, or if you want something a bit more exclusive, the socks can match the color of your accessories.
What is the correct length of a tie?
We at Couture For Gentlemen recommend that a tie be long enough to reach the trouser belt.
What shirt is recommended if I'm going to a wedding?
Given that it is a formal event, we recommend wearing a white shirt. It shows respect for the event you are attending and attention to how you take care of yourself.
How long should the socks be?
Choosing the right color and length for your socks directly affects the overall look of your outfit; a sock that is 3/4 in length is just right for a flawless look.
What style of vest is worn with a groom's suit?
A vest is generally not worn with a tuxedo, but if you wish to add this garment, opt for a deeply tailored vest.
What suit do I need if I am the groom?
If the long-awaited event is approaching, formal attire, such as a tuxedo, is the ideal choice for you!
Does the groom wear a waistcoat with the suit?
Depending on the outfit you choose. If you choose a formal outfit consisting of a black jacket and black trousers, you can also add a waistcoat, but if you choose a tuxedo, it is preferable not to add a waistcoat.
